November 11th,1918 was the day that the First World War ended. It was a horrific war in which words cannot fully describe the atrocities experienced by soldiers such as poison , Trench Foot, losing friends and being forced to kill.  We cannot forget those who fought for us; those who believed a better world required peace, freedom and prosperity. It is our duty to ensure none of their sacrafices are in vain. When the clock strikes 12 am on November 12th, 2015 and forward, don’t forget about the day before. Don’t forget the importance of Rememberence Day. It is our duty to remember and honour those who died.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place: and in the sky
The larks still bravely singing fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the dead: Short days ago,
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
