I’d always like working with kids and wanted to try teaching. In Grade 9, I decided to sign up to be a Peer Tutor to a grade 5 student, once a week for an 1.5 hrs.
I tutored my tutee in social studies, history and essay writing.
Being a teacher taught me about public speaking, patience and how to work efficiently.
