Variety village is a charity registered in Canada. Its main focus is to create a fitness, sports and life skills facility for the disabled. Their facility contains many rooms and interesting sections such as; a swimming pool where disabled people can swim, a fitness center for all ages and abilities, a sensory room, wheelchair basketball teams and much more.

I was in my school’s outreach council and helped initiate this project. A grub day happened at school and all the money raised would go to Variety Village. We did many activities there such as wheelchair basketball. We also took a tour of the place and were amazed what we saw. It was wonderful how all people with disabilities and non-disabled could come together.
